When I was up at Mom’s, working on the quilt, I also managed to sweet talk her into cutting the rest of the pieces of the Cat Fancy quilt for me. (I’m not going to lie, there was a lot, I didn’t cut much myself)
And amazing Mom that she is, she even labelled them so now I can busy on the fun part – piecing!
Here’s a look where all my quilt projects are at:
- Marseilles Stars: Stars are all pieced – I need to cut some plain white fabric and piece the top together
- Purrfect Petals: All the petal are done – like Marseilles, it needs white fabric cut and top pieced.
- Cat Fancy: Let the piecing begin!
- Leader and Ender HSTs: Almost done the crazy pinwheels – this one will be in regular rotation soon!
Now that is a great mom! And the labels are so sweet. That is such a complicated pattern. I’m looking forward to seeing it come together!

What a treat that your Mom cut fabric for you: cutting is tedious! I mark piles in a similar manner. Have fun piecing.

Yes, that was a lot of cutting. I notice one stack has 120 listed. What a wonderful Mom. Looking forward to seeing Cat Fancy evolve.
