Before I get into this week’s stitching…
WHAT THE HELL MOTHER NATURE???? This was her Easter Monday treat for us! Now it’s supposed to be up to 18C/34F by Thursday, but I really could have done without seeing any more snow until November. I blame Dave – he siphoned the gas from the snow-blower this weekend, thinking he wouldn’t need it until next winter.
Sigh…
On to more enjoyable things…
With it being Easter weekend, I had plenty of time in the evenings to stitch away on my little Queen.
I’ve finished almost all of the flowers and vines on the right-hand side. I say almost, because there are five little stitches in the centre of that one rose that should be gold. But it seemed silly to cut a new thread for just five stitches. The left-hand side has a rose just like it, so I’ll wait until I do that one to do them both… and cut a new thread for just 10 stitches! Lol.

Fantastic job on the cross stitching! That’s a lot done since last week! The snow is a pain but May is coming! (I only remember one Mother’s Day that it snowed!)

We had snow the Monday before Easter. It wasn’t good for the leafed out trees. My backyard maple lost 11 branches, ouch. Hope your landscaping fared okay.

What great progress. It is just beautiful! No snow for Easter Monday but it rained all day long. Very cold and dreary. Today will be in the 50s, tomorrow in the 60s, then several days of 70s and 80s. It’s the windiest spring I remember.

That is just WRONG! Dennis siphoned our snow blower last week too. I hope it stays away from here although it has been very cold this week. 21F this morning.
As for your cross stitch, I’m in love, love, love. It’s safe to say that it’s my favorite cross stitch I’ve seen in a long time. She’s beautiful and those roses are perfect.

Yikes! They got 6 inches of snow yesterday in Frostburg which is in the MD panhandle. We got cold rain only thank goodness. It’s cold out there today too.

I agree, the weather has been crazy lately. Last Saturday, we drove home from Port Angeles through very slushy snow and even saw snow plows! Luckily we had our seldom used scraper in the car. Your stitching piece is beautiful!
