I mentioned on Saturday that this weekend was a little bit of a girls getaway. I was about an hour from home with these lovely silly ladies…
We spent the day and night at Sam’s trailer in a lovely little park called Willow Lake.
There was a fire
With marshmallows of course!
There was a beautiful sunset of the lake
And just wonderful time spent with great friends!

I’ve got camping envy. I’ve been trying to get The Mister to agree to getting a small camper but it’s not working. We used to camp all the time when the kids were little and we loved it. We are too old for the tenting thing but I can’t get The Mister to budge off his pile of money and invest in a small trailer. Boo….

We are a bit better today.
But Tank is wheezing more…..and that’s making me nervous. My sister the vet had us sanitizethe upstairs where Bear would stay when he visited. I never let him meet my cats and i have to thank Beatles. He gets too upset with new cats and I just felt it would stress him. Turns out he probably prevented liil weird Pie from getting the awful FIP virus from Bear. So we had the carpets professionally cleaned. We washed everything with a touch of bleach.
OH , But friends: they are the best!
