While most of my vacation was on the warm to hot side, we did have a couple days early in the week where the evenings were almost chilly.

But it’s the perfect weather for a little porch knitting if you have a warm quilt, and a warm cat! We made some great progress and now are passed the gusset on the second sock.

It won’t be long until this one is a complete pair!
It’s been really cool at night here too. If I had a porch I would definitely be sitting and knitting on it too.

Wrapped in a quilt and knitting sounds wonderful. The shortie socks are cheerful and will be fun to wear.

That was a fast knit! Our evenings were really cool last week but that’s long gone. The A/C has been running steadily for about 5 days now. It was over 90F here today and very humid.
Little Lemmy is such a sweetie. He obviously loves his Mama very much. Dennis and I laugh all of the time about his homecoming and you saying, “he’s NOT staying.” Ha! I guess we know how THAT turned out.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
