As soon as my brother’s socks were off the needles, I cast a pair on for his wife.

I have a gift card for my sister-in-law already, but I’d like to tuck a pair of socks in with it if I can. I have until the 22nd to finish this pair. They are just anklets, so I should be able to do it. But of course, I’ve got to finish all that binding first….
Great socks! That’s a good idea to tuck a gift card in with them.
I’ve learned that when I do placemats that I have to do the binding as I finish each one. If I pile them up the job takes on a life of its own and ruins the fun-and I only make two….lol.

I love those purples in the cuff and your SIL is going to love them, probably more than the gift card! I just read Debbies comment about bindings and laughed. Some projects you just have to finish quickly or they just sit there forever. 🙂
Blessings,
Betsy

The new socks will be very pretty and after making man-socks, these will fly off the needles!

Anklets are fun to knit – much faster than regular socks.

Those are going to be beautiful socks. I’m betting you get the socks and the placemats completed by your deadlines.
