Since it’s been a pretty brutal winter here, we just bought a bunch of seed and suet to put out for the birds. That first photo of yours is of a bird I just noticed out taking advantage of it all. I’d never seen one before.

On the other side of Lake Huron, folks are already seeing snowy owls; ooh, I’d LURV to see one in the wild!
Have only got a camera phone, so do not expect to catch a photo; just seeing one would make me happy.
