Well… sock, really. I’ve only completed one so far…
But it is, indeed, on some rocks! Those are the rocks the fence guys dug up last fall when they were putting in posts. I’ve yet to decide what to do with them. But back to the sock…
As you can see, it’s nothing fancy – just a simple 3-1 rib. I subbed in a complimentary blue-grey for the heel so I wouldn’t break up the striping. I was going to use it on the toe too, but by the time I got there, I changed my mind, and kept going with the main yarn.
Now it’s on to the second one. I don’t normally worry about matching the stripes, but I think I’m going to give it a whirl this time, since I like the way I broke the big blue stripe in half at the heel.
P.S. I finished Cascadas! She’s blocking now and will have buttons in time for Saturday. But you’re going to have to wait until next week for pics.
Socks for Dave?

Yah for completing Cascadas in plenty of time for the weekend! Love the sock and the way you did the colors – blue heel and then the toe ended up being orange. Those rocks have much potential. Will be interesting to see what you end up doing with them.
