With my Undines done, I needed a new sock project. Although I’m making Dave a quilt for Christmas, it never hurts to have a pair of socks to wrap up. So I dove into the BFL Alley Cat I dyed up just for him and started stitching.
I sketched up a little skully chart and threw a row in just for fun. I’ve never made Dave a pair of colourwork socks before.
I’m resisting the urge to work on them instead of the poncho. They are supposed to be for travel knitting only, but part of me wants to release the pattern to you all before Hallowe’en.
But I guess skulls are in fashion all year round, these days.
I really like those! I love socks that have something interesting going on where you don’t expect it.

I LOVE them!!!! I am resisting the urge to re-cast on my Halloween socks in sock yarn but that means putting other things on the back burner. I guess I should just be happy I’ve got so many things on the needles that I love that I can’t fit in another project. That doesn’t happen very often.
