FO: Foxy Baby

Continuing to work through my backlog of unquilted tops, I completed two of the baby quilts this past weekend.

First up was Foxy Baby…

Isn’t it cute? I’m not normally a huge fan of orange, but I love the POP the orange gives this one.

And of course, all those cute forest critters make it pretty special too.  This one isn’t huge, only 30″ x 34″. That’s because I was working within the constraints of the remnant I had for the backing.

And it was worth it. That back is just perfection! (And flannel too, for a little extra snuggle.)

It’s a fun, fast pattern that can be put together in an afternoon.

And oh so cute in her result!

  1. That really turned out so nicely. I love the pop that the orange gives the quilt and the backing fabric is wonderful! Some little baby is going to be so lucky!!

What a beautiful little quilt! I had actually saved a photo of it to my Pinterest board when you showed the top. Your fabrics (and that orange!) just make it shine. The backing could not be any more perfect. What a great gift for someone.
