The other day, I had a free afternoon, so I finished up the last nine pinwheel blocks.

They were promptly inspected by Burton…

And once they had his approval, they joined the others I had made, giving me 25 blocks in total.

These blocks are all made from scraps. And with this one, I wanted to challenge myself to pair fabrics and patterns that really popped against each other! I’m very pleased with the results and I can’t wait to get them together into a top.

As you can see, Burton is pretty thrilled about them too!
They really do pop! Kitties must have a radar that tells them where to sit. I just bought a pack of little flannel blankies that I throw on the floor to keep my kitties from stealing my dishcloths to sit on.

My cats have plenty of places for them to sit but nothing holds the appeal like an array of quilt blocks! lol Very pretty blocks-they look great!

Those are beautiful blocks! Love your “scraps”. Great colors and such a fabulous contrast to the white (Kona?). Burton is such a contrast and adorable.
