Finally! I was able to carve out an hour or so to try out this bowl cozy pattern.
I’ve had the material (wrap and zap batting, and 100% cotton thread) to make them for AGES. But I just never got around to it.
They are very easy to make and I had one turned out in no time.

Of course, my first one was made with cat fabric! You need two 10 inch squares to make one, so they are a great way to use up leftover layer cake pieces.

And they are an absolute purr-fect fit for my bowls! Don’t worry… there are more to come!
I have thought about making some of these and also ones that are dinner plate size because we don’t seem to sit at the table much unless we have company.
I really like the fabric you used.
Blessings,
Betsy

That is so cute. I’ve seen them for sale at craft sales when I was back in Orlando.
Love the kitty fabric.

My daughter has a flannel one in her pot holder drawer, I will try it…we usually just use potholders if the bowl is hot from the microwave! Cute material!!

That’s just brilliant and just what I need. These new quartz counters are driving The Mister crazy. He hates the sound of the china hitting it. I need a bunch of these to cushion the blows. It will be a good New Year’s project if we ever get the rest of the kitchen done.
