After putting it off for eleventy billion other things, I finally started working on the new red and cream quilt for my bed.

It’s just two blocks so far, but it’s a start. All the fabrics are paired, cut and ready to go, so whenever I have a spare hour or so I can sit down and bang out a pair of blocks. There will be 16 in total – 8 opposite pairs.
This one is not a rush, so I’m just going to take my time and enjoy the process.
Love the pattern. I have been starting to collect red fabric too. I want to make a red and white quilt. This will be very pretty when finished. Enjoy!

This one will be a stunner. I’m glad it’s for you. The blocks and the fabric are perfect together Val. It will be so much fun watching it come together.

I love that color combination. I’ve got my next piecing project sitting here waiting for me to get the time to start it. That’s the good thing about fabric-it doesn’t go bad no matter how long you take to use it up.

What a wonderful start! The blocks are beautiful! If you have all the cutting done, you are going to zoom thru constructing the blocks.
