In good news, I finished the great floss reorganization
The bad news is, I need a bigger organizer. There’s no room for all those greys at the top. And it doesn’t include the 16 or so colours I’m using on the butterfly. They are pulled out and in my project bag.
And speaking of that butterfly…
I’ve actually made progress on it! I’ve only gotten through six of the colours, but if you squint just right, you can get a sense of the shape of the wings. There’s still a long way to go, but it’s nice to finally see some progress on it. I can’t wait to get to the outlining – this is one where the outlining is really going to make it shine.

Whoa….look at all that floss! I had to buy three boxes when I organized mine and I still have a bag of repeat colors that didn’t make the cut. I have a very bad habit of just buying new floss with every project instead of heading to the bobbin boxes. I tend to only use them when I run out of something and have to go stash diving.

You’ve given me an idea on how to organize my scarves, and I happen to have a spare china cabinet to use.

I also have three of those boxes full of floss and I still don’t have the colors I need when I start a project. The boxes sure do make it easier to find the colors though.
The butterfly is going to be so pretty and I do see the wing shape.
