Fishin’ to kill time

Last week, I had to take Dory in to get a stone chip in her windshield fixed. I knew from previous experience that it would take a little time. The GGS is much too big and bulky for waiting room knitting, so I grabbed some needles, and the second ball of Felici to get started on the second of my brother’s birthday socks.

I didn’t get super far on them (I’m five rows short of finishing the ribbing), but it’s a start. Now I just have to resist the urge to work on them when I should be working on the GGS at home! Their time will come soon enough.

You’ve got to have socks on the needles for those times you just have to grab and go. I get twitchy if I don’t have some knitting with me wherever I go.
