First, thank you for all the well wishes. I felt much better by Monday morning.
Before the weekend, I’d been diligently working in the evenings to add more rounds to the last sleeve on Dad’s birthday sweater. I had a rotating cast of helpers too…

And then by Sunday, when I just didn’t have much energy to do anything else… I plunked myself in the recliner, put on Good Omens 2, and Burton and I pushed through to finish it!

About an hour before bed, I was happily casting off the the final round!

It still needs blocking and all the ends sewn in, so Burton and Lemmy say you have to wait for a proper FO post to see it. But we are all very happy to have finished well in advance of our deadline and can move on to something fun, and not HUGE and GREY!
Congrats. It looks great and I’m sure it will be well loved.

I read the book Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, but didn’t realize there was a TV show. Neil Gaiman can do no wrong, in my estimation.
Concats on mostly finishing that sweater!

Yippee!!! I knew you would get it done! Now if only I could make myself finish a sweater I started for Squish and which just might fit Rowdy if I finished it. I only have the sleeves to do.

Love, love, love all of your helpers and the sweater too of course. I’m working on the shawl collar for Piper’s sweater. I’ve been knitting on it since Thursday. It never seems to grow. It has to be 6 1/2 inches and I’m only have 4 done! It’s not growing. I think elves come in at night and frog what I’ve done during the day. 396 stitches per row!
Blessings and hugs,Betsy

Congratulations! It’s so nice to get a big project off the needles. And it’s even nicer to do that with good helpers.
