Despite feeling unwell, one of the things I had to do on the weekend was get new tires put on Dory. It was to the point where I couldn’t put it off any longer. So I had an appointment booked at the tire place for first thing in the morning…

And while Dory got nice grippy new shoes, I worked on my brother’s birthday socks.

They were pretty quick with the tire change, so I didn’t get a tonne done, but I’m through the ribbing and about an inch into the plain leg knitting. If I can keep after this like I did with Dad’s sweater, I’ll have a second sock done in no time.

The Ginger Twins are primed and ready to keep my on task!
A lap full of kitties. There is nothing better. 🙂 I really like the colors in your brothers socks. Very nice.
New shoes for Dory! I bet she’s glad. And just in time for snow season.
Blessings,
Betsy

Love the stripes on the beginning of the sock. It’s fun to see what color comes next. Cute knitting companions, too.

Sweet Rupert and Lemmy. I’m sure they are helpful. The socks are nice – I like the colors. Tires are so friggin’ expensive, but not something you want to skimp on. Glad you got new ones before the full winter snows come flying in!

Well, THERE goes the budget. Sheesh! Tires have become SO expensive.
The brother socks look so handsome. That’s a nice color combo. As for the kitties? All I can say is they are too cute to be taskmasters.
