When I did my tally for knit projects in 2022 – I thought it was really low at just 17 (mostly small) projects. But in 2023… it appears I knit just FIVE projects….

Two pairs of mens’ socks, two pairs of ladies’ anklets, and my Dad’s sweater. That’s it. And I can’t even claim that the sweater took up most of my time, because at least half of it was knit in 2022!!!!
No – the sad truth is that I just didn’t pick up the needles very often. Something I plan to change in 2024! I’ve still got a lot of yarn to use!
But you did finish some things!! And that sweater is an impressive finish! The socks are nice, too. And besides, you did a ton of gardening! Happy New Year!

I would have thought you completed more knitting projects that five. After the garden review though, I can see how you had less knitting time. It will be interesting to see how your quilting projects compare to the previous year. It amazes me that you accomplish all that you do!

Between the garden, the house and ALL of the quilts you made, I think five projects are great.
Next year will be great!

What you did knit was very nice. How did your dad like his sweater?

Actually, getting that sweater done is really the icing on the cake, no?

I knit more this year than last, but 11 were kids hats and 2 were ornaments. So did I really do more this year?

What a pretty array of knits! You’ve added a lot of other distractions, so knitting had to share the time! lol

My year looks just like yours, socks and a sweater….that I never finished. Oh, the drama. You’ll have to read my post on Monday to see what ever happened to my Big Gray Blob.
