I am happy to announce, I FINALLY finished something!!!

My Emotional Support Chicken is complete!
It was a fun little pattern, but if you’re not fun of wrap and turn – stay away! This chick is full of it. I don’t mind W&T at all, thus I have a completed chicken!
The pattern also calls for a couple colour changes, creating strategically placed stripes…

but I felt that the colour changes in Mom’s handspun were more than enough so I left them out.

Don’t you agree?????
I love your chicken, so cute! Does s/he have a name? That may be the most fun part.
I’m not a big fan of short rows, but these were easy because the wraps didn’t have to be resolved (picked up later).
I gave Henelope Featherington to a friend, so now I just have Eggatha Crispy here.

That’s the best one I’ve seen so far. It’s quite realistic and at the same time very huggable!

I agree with everyone, she is the cutest chicken that I’ve ever seen. The yarn is perfection. I love her. What is her name. You HAVE to name her.

Wish I’d seen this before I knitted mine in solid coloured “stripes”. It looks a bit like a dressmakers pattern!!! Now I see why variegated wool works SO MUCH better. Thanks!

She’s absolutely adorable! I love the colors. It reminds me of my favorite yarn, Malabrigo. Do you have a pattern for sale?
