I had one last present to knit and with Christmas creeping up, I chose something I knew would knit up fast. A bulky-knit hat.

The pattern is Snow Day. It’s a freebie, and a very simple pattern. The yarn is Bernat Wavelength in the oddly named Orange Sodalite colourway. Because while there’s plenty of blue like sodalite, there’s not much orange. It’s more red and burgundy.
And that’s the last present, all wrapped up. I’m ready for Christmas. Are you?
Lovely colours!

The hat is just adorable!!! Spent the morning baking and it’s all in the freezer for next week.

Great hat! I love the pom pom on top. I got a jolt this morning on how close we are to Christmas already. We’ve really got nothing going on but I still feel like there’s things that need to be done.

Cute hat.
We ARE ready for Christmas. We don’t do a tree and we don’t exchange gifts, but we do cook a bit fancier. Yesterday Steve did the grocery store and today we hit the farm store where we get our meats ……………….we are ready for good eatin’.
Stephen gets here on Saturday and the cook fest will begin!

We are ready here, too. Though it is pretty scaled down this year.
The hat is so pretty! Nice job.

The hat is great, but like you, I think the name is a bit strange. I’ve been ready since our Thanksgiving which is good since I was sick for weeks.
It will just be the two of us and Zoey so no big plans. We don’t usually exchange gifts, athough I can’t count on Dennis to get me nothing, so it will be quiet here.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
