About that sock

The poor pink sock just hasn’t been seeing much love lately.

These sad few inches are all I’ve managed to complete since I cast off the kitty cat hat. It’s definitely a case of Second Sock Syndrome. And it’s coupled with a case of WHY THE F@$% DID I DECIDE TO DO SO MUCH RIBBING? AKA “WTFDIDTDSOMR”.

But this week…. this week I’m going to get to that heel if it kills me! (And this much ribbing just might…)

Ha! The color is beautiful though. I was thinking I probably should have ribbed the legs of Piper’s Christmas socks. She has such skinny legs they’ll probably fall down around her ankles.

    Blessings,

Ribbing is a real drag. I have to play all kinds of mind games to get it done. The pink is pretty so you’ve got something encouraging there.

LOL. Exactly why I do not do fully ribbed socks. The cuff is bad enough! Pretty yarn though…and your socks are much smaller than mine, so carry on and you will be finished in no time.

  4. Val, THat second sock syndromewill get me everytime. Unless I make them side by side. I’m knitting the workday shawl. Easy. Pretty. repetitive. Just right for me .

We took a trip to detroit last weekend to see Will and Al’s house. We went on a short walk to Belle something State park and I waved at Canada across the river. l Al ‘s knitting a vest and its lovely. she took me to a yarn shop in Rivertown that was wonderful.

Rio is keepingthe cats young. . Love kathy b

    1. I hope Al and Will are settling in nicely!
I watched a show on Belle Ilse and it looks like an amazing park. I can say on my few trips to the U.S. – you guys know how to make beautiful parks! I had so much fun walking around Chicago (even though it was February and FREEZING!)
One day we will have to make a date to meet at the border!
