This has definitely been the snowiest winter I can remember in a long time. We’ve pretty much had a good covering of snow since Christmas. We’ll get a warm up for a day or two, and then bam, another storm comes through dumping several inches of fresh snow.
Now I’m not complaining, my brother, who lives three hours north of us in the snow belt, has been getting HAMMERED with snow. Check out the famous 12 ft snow wall a few towns over from him.
But it has meant that the kitties haven’t been going out as much. Well – most of the kitties

Not much but the biting cold stops this idiot from going outside. The snow bothers him not a jot.

These pics were taken over a week ago. We got a good walloping on the weekend and now there’s about double that in the catio yard (and everywhere else).

Lemmy doesn’t quite see what the birds see in the seed heads that are scattered throughout the garden.
But he does enjoy a good scratch/roll on the scratching log!

Mabel will go out in the snow…but she is not fond of wind (she takes after me!!). That snow wall is crazy. I remember being at my Grandmother’s house in Vermont and when her walkway to the front door was shoveled, the piles on either side were over my head!

Beautiful! Lena is a wimp-she won’t go outside here if it is below 50F and we don’t have any snow!!!! I’m glad Lemmy enjoys it; it’s a good way to get out his energy!

Those are some great photos! He’s like one of those snow tigers. I don’t blame him. I like to roll around in snow too. Our one remaining outdoor/indoor kitty cries to go out and then sits right in front of the door and cries to come back in. She’s driving us crazy.

Love those photos of Lemmy. My favorite is the one with his outstretched paw. He’s such a cutie. Zoey hate the snow. We carry her out when it’s this cold or she can’t even walk by the time we get to the pet area. She does her business and we pick her right up. Lizzie sometimes can’t even take the time to do what she needs to befor she literally falls over because her feet are so cold. I’m so relieved that it’s supposed to start warming up later today.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

Such fun photos! Lemmy is such a cutie. We have had the craziest weather here ever! First there was the “bomb cyclone,” Then it snowed enough to cancel the schools for the first time in quite a while, then we had some strong winds, and now they are predicting an atmospheric river and possible flooding. Boy, am I ever ready for some spring sunshine!
