The second Sanderson sock is underway.

But progress is on the slow side – just three stripes completed on the leg. The weather has just been too nice to stay inside and knit. We’ve got rain moving in today, so maybe I can get through the rest of that leg tonight.
Very pretty. We have rain forecast for Friday and Saturday – I’m hoping it cools our summer-like temps down a notch or two!

Nothing like a rainy evening to sit with your knitting and furbabies!

Boy, it poured here Monday night and all day yesterday. Lots of rolling thunder too with no dangerous storms. It was perfect for a day of crochet and packing yesterday. Right now we’re driving down I-29 in Iowa heading to Finger Lakes, MO tonight. It will be night to get away for a week or two.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

You’re making me nostalgic for fall. We’ve gone from cool rain to blistering heat. I hope my new plants can make the adjustment. I just bought a soaker hose. I’m not going to watch my poor hydrangea dry up this summer.
