In fact, I’m almost to the toe. I’m not loving working with the cotton – but the colours are making it worth dealing with. I expect to have the second sock started soon.

They do look like Easter! I knit cotton socks for a friend who is allergic to wool and I did not enjoy the process.

So pretty! Ages ago I bought a bunch of cotton sock yarn thinking I could make myself some spring and summer socks and have never touched it. I’m not even going to say that this might be the summer I use them but I know better. I think they are permanent residents of the stash.

The no stretchiness of cotton hurts my fingers. I usually only use it for dishcloths. I make a few at a time and then take a break for awhile, months or weeks.
Those colors are perfect though.
