Another quilt finished this weekend was the Christmas kittens quilt which will be raffled off to support Bee Meadow Farm.

Isn’t it sweet. It turned out just how I expected, and I love it when that happens.

It’s not a huge quilt, about 52″ square, but it’s a nice size for curling up with on a frosty night.
And it’s full of cute, festive kitties!
The back is a nice, soft chunk of mottled green flannel.

As soon as Natalie announces the raffle details, I’ll let you all know. You won’t want to miss out on a chance to win it!
It’s just perfect!! I love the colors, the blocks, the border, the quilting-everything!

I adore Bee Meadow Farm; hope to be able to visit it someday, when the Canada/USA border is open again. Since we are in the Metro Detroit area, it’s really not too far to BMF’s part of Ontario.
Back in the day, when my family drove to Buffalo every year, we’d drive straight across from Detroit to Niagara Falls. I also want to visit Point Pelee National Park.

The plaid border makes this quilt! I have no doubt the fund raiser will be a huge success.

Fantastic! the use of the plaid on the border makes it looked like it is pieced at first glance! What a great cuddle in the flannel!

What a beautiful quilt! So many things make it special like the fussy cut star centers, the fabrics, that plaid border and the flannel back. It is really awesome.

You did such a wonderful job. The fabric choices were perfect. I hope it raises a LOT of money for the farm.
Blessings,

Love the plaid border and love how you finish so many of your quilts with flannel backing – just that much cozier!
