The first of the Thunderstruck socks is done.
In this light, you can finally see a bit more difference between the pumpkin orange and light coral stripe. The camera still has trouble capturing it. It’s much more apparent in person.
It’s been nice mindless knitting. Work has been crazy, and now we’ve added house-hunting into the mix. I’m just not up for complicated knitting right now.
The Felici is great for that. It’s a nice yarn to knit with and they are such fun colours. It’s the kind of yarn that makes you knit “just one more stripe.”
It certainly makes giant man socks go much quicker.
And I’m happy to say the replacement order of Felici arrived safe and sound.
There’s still no sign of the lost order. I think it’s well and truly lost. I hope, at least, it’s been found by a knitter!

Felici socks make the best mindless knitting projects. It’s why I can’t stop ordering it. I hope my family likes stripes because that’s what they are getting this year.

I started a simple sock last night too with Patons Kroy in the Blue Striped Rag colorway. Just a plain vanilla sock and I know it will be nice to knit on while my mind turns over with things I need to get done in the next two weeks.
I do hope the yarn ended up with a knitter too. Can you imagine someone getting Felici yarn and not appreciating the treasure they have? It boggles the mind!

I love your Felici sock stripes. The orange and coral show the difference well for me! I did a little bit of sock knitting today while Fireman drove us to town.
