Lots of logs

The days are noticeably shorter, so our outside knitting time has been limited. We’re back to mostly knitting inside again.

Rupert doesn’t care where we are, as long as he gets my lap.

With his help, eight more logs have been added. I’m now on the second skein of the light purple. If I follow the pattern, I have 16 more logs to add. I’m not sure if I’m going to make it quite that long. I’ll decide after I complete the next eight.

  1. It’s so pretty and I love the pattern and the colors together. I’m glad you have such a good helper. Our puppy spends a lot of time sleeping on my lap. He’s going to have to start earning his keep and start doing some supervising around here. 🙂

Oh, wow…..you’ve got so much done!!! Your kitty helper looks so comfy. I can’t knit a stitch with a lap full of dog. It’s a good thing she’s not the cuddly type.

Cats are good helpers! Our cats love to help make the bed. One when the sheets are washed and the other one when I make it in the morning.

Speaking of cats. What happened to the blog that featured Giroux? I just totally spaced how to spell his name, or is that right? Anyway, one day it was there and the next it was gone.

    1. Your shawl looks great! I don’t think you need to knit through *all* the yarn. I finally got around to shortening mine! Nothing like the power of a deadline. I’m teaching log cabin knitting on Thursday for Olive Knits/Knit Camp at the Coast (virtual), and I wanted to use Cherry Blossom Wrapture as a sample.

Love that pic of you and Rupert!
