It seems the cats aren’t the only ones happy with the catio conversion. Burton and I had our first toad visitor already (you will recall the toads came frequently to hang out last summer)

I imagine we’ll only see more of them as the plants grow and give them more cover.
He looks like he’s having a conversation with Lord Burton. Maybe he’s telling him that he needs a kiss from the fair maiden to turn into a prince.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

Burton doesn’t bother him? Tyg used to go after them…I’m curious to see what Mabel does.

Burt and a buddy! The toads certainly will help keep the bug population down.

Lord Burton probably thinks the toad is a new retainer for his imperiousness!

You’re going to have your own wildlife sanctuary. Burton seems to be willing to share his space.

My outside kitties would have made lunch of Mr. Toad. As nasty as they much taste, they love them. Salamanders too which make them very sick.

We came home from the movies last night to find a huge toad on our sidewalk. Husbter shoo’d it along so the dogs wouldn’t find it. They would not be so calm as Burton around it.
