Finally, I feel like I’m making some progress on Dad’s Christmas sweater.

In this picture, it’s about halfway through the raglan increases. I’m actually further along, having added a few rounds since I took this, and I hope to be splitting for the arms and body soon.
Not much more to say on it, because it’s pretty mindless knitting. But that’s about all I can handle after these long, busy work days I’ve been having lately.
It’s looking good!

Raglan is fun to knit. It’s so cool to all of the sudden be at the sleeve separation part. It’s kind of like turning the heel on a sock!
Blessings,

You can’t beat a top down raglan pullover for mindless knitting. I was just looking at my stash and thinking about starting one myself. You can’t have enough of them. They are always my go to throw on for a cold day.

Mindless projects are my favorite knits. I can get lost in the endless knitting and just relax. Your Dad will love this sweater!

It may be mindless knitting but it certainly is going to be a wonderful sweater. What a great gift for your Dad.

I find a raglan stockinette stitch very relaxing–it sure is handsome yarn, too!
