As I hoped, the weather has been wonderful this weekend. Sunny and warm, with beautiful clear skies.

Perfect weather to do a little planting.

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been collecting bulbs. And of course, I still had some that I’d brought from the townhouse. After they bloomed in spring, I bagged them all up, waiting to replant them. If you do you math, and add in the ones I already had…. it’s well over 300 bulbs that needed to be put in the ground.
It took all afternoon, but I managed it. It’s going to be one heck of a spring show!
300? Wowza…that IS going to be some show!

I would say I can’t wait, but I don’t want to rush away fall. I’ll say I can’t wait come January. You are going to have a BEAUTIFUL spring yard.

Really?
Lord Burton ALLOWED you to do something other than sewing, knitting, or needlepoint?!?

No doubt that spring will be spectacular in your yard/gardens. I really like the first photo of Burton with what I think are sun rays.

Hooray for anticipating the Spring blooms! Bulbs don’t do well here-I have to put them in pots for a slim chance of them blooming! (the sand just dries the bulbs out to nothing! think mummy bulbs! lol)
