You ever have one of those knits that shouldn’t take more than an evening or two, but days and days go by, and you just can’t seem to get it done???
The second Bearly Bonnet is doing that to me.

I’m through the main garter, and should be joining in the round to finish the back… but I’m not. Normally, evenings after dinner are for knitting… but life has just kept me too busy. I’m either out running errands after dinner, working on something around the house, or just too darn tired from the days events to knit at stitch.
But I really want to get this done so I can get it (and the quilt) off to Mom and baby!
As of Friday evening, I’m on vacation for a week. And my first priority is finishing this darn thing!
I do know–that sock is sstill staring at me! lol Vacation time will make a huge difference for you! What a great time for vacationing!

I also have some things that aren’t moving as fast as I need them to. Whenever I tell someone I am going to make something for them time seems to stand still. I’ve got baby quilts to finish, baby socks to make, baby hats to make and a birth sampler to frame. There isn’t enough time in the day.

Oh yes, it’s happening here too. I STILL haven’t finished the sock I’ve been working on for weeks. I haven’t picked up the needles all week.

You will get it done, you can fly when needed. Love all the decorations in your town. Our neighborhood is starting to deck out the porches. How wonderful to watch your butterfly change! Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Now that you mention it, I’ve got a lap blanket that I quit after a few weeks; the project was overwhelming for a novice knitter like me.
