We are quickly approaching the time of year where there is more colour on the ground, than there is on the trees.
It makes walking about the neighbourhood absolutely wonderful.
Especially when the sun is shining.
It’s hard to capture with a phone camera, but it makes the leaves that are left on the trees just glow.
And of course, it smells amazing. This time of year never lasts long enough…
But there’s still time to get a pumkin or two.
And enjoy all the shades of the season!

One day I plan to grab all those colorful leaves and try to match them to yarn and create something with the range of colors! But I will need to find a Cascade wall of yarn to match them all.
Beautiful colors!! They would make a lovely blanket…or sweater…I need more time (and more yarn).
Breathtaking! We don’t get a wide variation of color here-just shades of gold which looks magical when the sun hits it just right. We are just now showing signs of color here.
Word to the wise …………..do NOT kick through the leaves wearing Keens! You will be picking leaf bits out of your socks and off the floor ALL NIGHT! LOL
Your photos are beautiful. I hope you bought some of the discounted pumpkins.
Beautiful color! Soak it up to store that riotous color for the drab winter ahead!
Gorgeous! I love to walk through fallen leaves: it’s magical.
The trees and leaves on the ground look very much like here in central North Carolina. I just love my morning walks when I can crunch thru the leaves in several places. It is the best time of the year.
You did a beautiful job of catching the glow of the leaves. I love the smell of autumn leaves when you walk through them don’t you? Such gorgeous colors. We’ve been very grateful for the long beautiful days of warmth and sunshine while moving. Almost finished with the job, but not quite.
Blessings and hugs,
I especially love when the sunshine makes the trees glow; it’s heavenly.
