Finally! Some really good progress made on my little Woodland Fairy! First… I finished up her hair

It was three shades, but it went pretty quick. Then I turned my attention to her little bun…

But he was just looking like a little blob, and it was bothering me so I went ahead and outlined him, even thought outlining is something I normally leave to the very end. I felt much better after I did it.

Then I finished up her ribbon and got started on her wings! Now that I’m onto the wings, I really want to just keep going. I may end up working on it this week, instead of waiting until the weekend. There’s still lots to do.. but I’m close enough to the finish that I can almost smell it. (And I’m already thinking about my next project.)
Wow! That’s a lot of progress. You’ve stitched so much (and I’m glad you went ahead and outlined the little bunny!).

She is darling. I love the outlined bunny. I think it is funny you are thinking of the next one, as I do the same thing knitting.
Very quiet morning here. I love it.
My summer has been one of reduce, reuse, recycle. Not sure what got me on the kick, but I am always saving yogurt cups to use to freeze dog treats in. I save gataorade bottles to make food bowls out of. I poke holes in them and Rio has to toss the bottle to get the kibble out. I save the big plastics for leftovers . I reuse the Starbucks cups to get the money off and recycle. I’ve gotten rid of a few things on free cycle but I also picked up some really good deals at sales and free cycle. So that’s been my unintentional goal for the summer and I like it!

What a cute bunny! I’m going to have to do that with my cat because looking at that blob of colors is not making me want to pick the project up.

She is just so beautiful. I love it! The bunny is so cute. I’m like you and I usually outline last but I’m glad that you didn’t wait. I’m curious for your next project.
Blessings and hugs,
