Although you don’t see much of her, our pretty senior girl is still living her best life.
I was bbqing dinner the other night, and had left the door open for Rupert (Burton was already on his harness and trying to figure out how to get the squirrels in the cedars.). I turn away from the grill to go in and get some bbq sauce, and there she was!
She sleeps a lot now (more than an average cat), so it was nice to see her up and about. She had a little munch on the lawn, then went back in to have another nap.
Awww! She’s gorgeous. I’m glad she’s such a content girl.
Blessings,
Betsy

Our Hoover is really winding down too. We don’t have any idea how old he is but he’s lost so much weight lately and just sleeps all day. He’s looking pretty rough but he still seems content at his new reality. As sad as it is I keep reminding myself how terrible his last years would have been if he had not shown up at our door three years ago. Poor old guy. I wish I knew his story.

Awww. I’m glad she got a bit of fresh air, too. I had to lock our oldest, Nyki, out of my room last night because she keeps waking me up and I need a full night’s sleep! She gave me the most offended look! Sorry old girl!

Aw, the pretty girl makes an appearance. Naps, that sounds lovely, and with our gloomy day, a big possibility!

She is just beautiful! Love her markings. I had a cat live to be 20 years old.

What a gorgeous senior Tortie girl. She sounds a lot like me, living my best life and sleeping a lot. I’m up in my teens as well.
