Yesterday was the first day of December. While it was raining cats and dogs on Monday, we woke up to a winter wonderland on Tuesday.

I always love the first real snow (we’ve had some flurries, but nothing that’s stuck). Relic is not quite so amused.
But he will get used to it.
One thing I did not think of was what all the snow would mean for Squirrelington’s. It looked pretty dire when I looked out the window at it.

But when I went outside to see if I could clear it off, there was a little black squirrel waiting on the windowsill for me. I had to give it a try.
Intrepid… thy name is squirrel!
How beautiful! I saw a squirrel carrying a giant dried corn cob across my yard the other day. The poor thing could barely lift it but he managed to get it into the woods.

What pretty pictures. The black squirrels against the snow are beautiful! Glad you were able to clear the table and get breakfast set up for them!

Those squirrels are counting on you! He had faith that you would clear it off and take care of him didn’t he? So pretty against the white. I’m already done with snow. We’ve had enough this year.
Blessings,
Betsy

A little thing like first snow wouldn’t stop him! So cute! I was not so amused to see how the whole night at 30*F could kill our sensitive plants! Misery. I’m glad you like it! lol
