You know Val, they watch us so closely!!! The other day I got some very upsetting news from my sister who is a cruel creature. I was so upset. I plopped on the couch, and Pie was instantly on my lap meowing and trying to calm me down. When my mother was dying and I would come home crying and stand for some reason at the kitchen window Pie would be the one to circle my legs and notice my distress.
