I’m starting to think Rupert is part hibernating bear.
Of course – I can’t say I blame him. We got hit with about 10 inches of snow over the weekend. Then another 15, Monday night into Tuesday. Then another inch or so yesterday. With more expected today. And possibly more on the weekend. I guess that’s what I get for saying January was pretty mild…
Hey Rupert… is there room in there for me too?
What a cozy kitty!!
boy, you really got dumped on. Luckily our storm yesterday didn’t leave us with as much snow as forecast and it ended sooner than expected. Hope your weekend is an easy one!

Yeah…I’m feeling like Rupert. It’s been non stop wintery mix here all week and I just want to stay in bed all day and forget about it. It’s been pretty depressing. If we would just get some pretty snow I would love it but noooooo…..it’s that nasty icy stuff that’s just a mess.

He does look like he’s found the best spot for a snowstorm!

What an absolute cuddle bug!
My cats spend a lot of the day on our bed; it’s cozy. I can’t bear to strip the sheets when they’re snoozing there. So today while they were downstairs having lunch, I did it! Biscuit came back and gave me the look of betrayal. Soon, kitties, soon, there will be a freshly made bed again!

Those photos are wonderful! I cannot even begin to imagine that much snow. Fortunately, I am far enough south that there was very little ice but we have had so much rain. Some really cold and dreary days but no loss of electricity. I am don’t dare complain since about 50 miles north of where I live, many people have been without power for six days. What a winter!

I think Rupert is smarter than all of us!

We got above 20 degrees F today…miracles of miracles!
It keeps snowing here, on and off, but it’s really light, fluffy stuff…so far.
The folks in southern US are in dire straights with the cold; we all hope that that mess warms up soon.
