Other than the Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilt, the only other quilt Burton and I have been able to make any progress on is the Blockhead Mod Cat quilt.
On the weekend, he helped me get two more blocks done.
And as you can see – he’s very pleased with the pair. Though I think he’s a bit more partial to the black one.
It’s shaping up to be such an interesting quilt. I’m loving the black, white and grey with just minimal pops of colour. So much fun!

I’ve always wanted to work on a black and white quilt. I love the dramatic look of them. That one reminds me of a full size Dear Jane.
This is gorgeous!
Lord Burton has such a discerning eye.
I agree, the fabrics look great for this collection of blocks. It’s going to be a stunning quilt.
That is going to be an awesome quilt! I love the fabrics and colors you are using. Those orange fabrics just make it sizzle. I would not have thought to make the alternating black/white backgrounds and it just makes it even better.
Keep that tail moving bUrton, or it might get quilted !
That is definitely a fun quilt. Burton is very wise in his choice of blocks. I like the small pops of color too.
I would say that it is really shaping up–this is a very striking combination of blocks!!!!
