I FINALLY got the Bearly Bonnet off the needles (more on Thursday), so I’ve been able to get back on track with my tiny stitches.

I used my evenings this weekend to finish up the black work on the machine legs. Now all I have left is the filling in of all the boring beige bits. Hopefully it’s not too boring.
This piece is coming along so nicely Val. I do not enjoy stitching background…so good luck! It is such a pretty piece.

I love how that kitty is sitting on the treadle. He looks so comfy while he’s guarding the machine.

It looks great, especially with Lord Burton featured on the treadle.

At first I thought that you had added Lord Burton yourself and then I read all of the comments. Was he really in the design originally? It’s perfect Val. Such a beautiful piece and reminds me so much of my grandma’s machine that I learned to sew on.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
