With some help from Burton

I turned the heel on the Seascape sock just before bed last night.

And I finally feel like I’m making some progress on knitting. I have just two appointments left this month, and Dave has one. There will be follow-up appointments in the months to come, but hopefully the pace will slow a bit.
In the meantime, I’ve decided to frog the silver shawl – I’m not feeling the love for it anymore and having it sitting there part done makes me feel overwhelmed. I do have to get back to Dad’s Christmas sweater, and I’m going to try to commit to working on it after work each evening.
I hate when projects give you a guilt trip. I have to remind myself all the time that I do this stuff for FUN.

You can work on the sock IF Burt gives you back your yarn. LOL THAT is an adorable photo.

Good to frog what is not bringing you joy. The sock looks great. The question is, as Dee mentioned, will burton release the yarn?

I know what you mean about appointments. Sometimes they seem to have a life of their own. I like the colors of your yarn/sock.

I love the colors in the yarn you are using. Yay for working your way thru appointments. Hope they will all result in good news.

Nice sock! Too bad about the Silver Shawl I thought it was ever so pretty but sometimes that is the way projects go and you have to frog them:)

Do not burn yourself out; take a break if you are overwhelmed.
Take more of a break…the project isn’t going anywhere.

The silver shawl…with all the beads? Oh well, sometimes things aren’t meant to be. Unlike Burton and the yarn ball, which is definitely meant to be! He doesn’t want to chew it?
